Disruptor Issue Two
24 pages, staple-bound, 2-color Risograph, 5.5 × 8.5 inches, first edition of 100 copies
is a biannual zine publication invested in the exploration of punk, hardcore, noise, and other subcultural sonic communities. Through photographic documentation of performers, audiences, spaces, and moments, Disruptor acts as both an investigation and archival collection of imagery. These visual records are presented alongside transcribed interviews, with each dialogue highlighting an individual or group working on the periphery to carve out new spaces and explore new musical and artistic ground.
Issue Two was created in the Summer of 2016. Featuring photography from Seattle, Washington-area DIY shows, and interviews with Lowest Priority and organizers involved with the Ground Zero Music Program, a DIY space in Bellevue, WA that closed in 2016.
